What kind of keywords to use for explorations?

In this article, we explain how to set your keywords to get the best possible results for your explorations.
What we'll cover

Maekersuite is a video pre-production tool that helps you research and write your scripts to set your video projects up for success. We use data and AI to generate the best possible support for you on your video creation journey.

When doing research with Maekersuite, you need to define your keywords. The more detailed the keywords the more relevant insights we can offer you.

Here are few tips to writing your keywords:

  • Quotation marks and commas – Use quotation marks to differentiate words that should appear together (e.g. “YouTube creator”), and commas to differentiate between separate keywords.
  • Long tail keywords for the win – Use 3 or more keywords together to make your search more detailed. An example of a long tail keyword: “how to write SEO optimised video scripts”

Don’t know what keywords to use?

One great trick to start your keyword explorations is to look into a topic you have already covered in one of your videos. In your report you will be able to view topics less related to your selected keywords but relevant for the similar audience. In the bubble graph, look at what you have in the bottom right corner.
